We are seeking a D365 Data Consultant to deliver high-quality, cloud-based data solutions leveraging Microsoft’s Azure ecosystem. Your role will focus on integrating, migrating, and optimising data within Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, working with Azure technologies to transform data and drive business value for our customers.

As a D365 Data Consultant, you will work on a variety of customer-facing projects centred around Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Azure cloud platform. You will lead CRM-centric integrations, ensuring seamless data integration from third-party sources such as Income and Event data. You will oversee CRM-centric migrations, handling critical non-profit data such as Donors, Donations, Fundraising Pipelines, Memberships, and Events, migrating them from legacy systems to D365 CRM. You will also develop reporting and analytics solutions to provide meaningful insights on D365 CRM-based solutions using Power BI.

Your responsibilities will include implementing data transformation and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency before loading it into cloud-based applications. You will drive data replication and archival strategies using Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure Synapse Link. You will work collaboratively with project teams, engaging in client workshops to gather requirements and translate them into effective cloud data solutions. In addition, you will provide coaching, mentoring, and training to clients on best practices in data migration, integration, and reporting.

To succeed in this role, you must have a passion for cloud data transformation and innovative data solutions. You should have experience working with Microsoft Azure SQL, including proficiency in T-SQL, Azure Data Factories, and Power BI. A strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM is essential, including an understanding of core entities, customisation, configuration, solution management, and API functionality.

You should have excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data challenges into clear solutions. Experience in delivering client-facing Discovery Workshops focused on Data Migration, Integrations, and Reporting/Analytics is key. The ability to build strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders at all levels is also required.
It would be highly desirable if you have experience in the non-profit sector, particularly with D365 Fundraising and Engagement. Experience with Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lakes, Power Automate, and Microsoft Fabric would be beneficial. Knowledge of Azure DevOps and core dimensional modelling concepts, along with experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and Webhooks, would also be advantageous.
