eQuality Solutions Group’s (eQS) primary goals were to enhance efficiency and ensure data integrity. By reducing the need for push reporting and increasing access to live pull reporting, eQS aimed to alleviate the pressure on the finance team and provide managers with better financial information for informed decision-making.
Customer Background
The eQuality Solutions Group (eQS) is dedicated to creating a more inclusive world by empowering individuals and organisations with diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) solutions that create actionable and lasting change for today and the future of our society.
Originating in the North East, eQS has expanded to three new locations: London, Halifax, and Tavistock. With a workforce of 100 employees and a network of hundreds of expert consultants, eQS is on a mission to transform from a "good business that does good" to a "great business that does great things."
eQS helps individuals and organisations to achieve their DEI aspirations by providing practical and effective solutions that create potential for all to thrive, in education, work and life. The business provides a comprehensive range of DEI solutions including: - Psychological assessments for Specific Learning Differences (SpLDs). - Workplace needs assessments - DEI training and consultancy - Specialist one-to-one support (e.g. mental health mentors and study skills tutors) - Assistive technology (AT) - AT training - AT and mental health e-learning
These services are delivered by the eQS group portfolio of six companies: Invate, e-Quality Learning, Learning Labs, Amano, The Educational Guidance Service and the EW Group.
As eQS expanded through acquisitions, the need for a unified finance system became evident. The existing system, Microsoft Dynamics GP, lacked the necessary functionality to support all companies. eQS conducted a thorough evaluation of several financial systems, narrowing the choices down to Sage Intacct, Access Financials, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Business Central).

The Solution
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central was selected for its alignment with eQS' overall IT strategy.
“mhance had been a trusted partner for over two years, and their proven track record made them a logical choice to continue this collaboration during the deployment of Dynamics 365 Business Central. There are inevitable frustrations that come with any new system implementation but mhance's openness and willingness to address and resolve issues was very much appreciated and this open relationship was key to the project's success.”

Customer Success
eQS deployed several mhance solutions, including Continia, m-Bank, Power BI, and Dynamics 365 Business Central. Although it's still early days, eQS has already seen improvements in processing purchase invoices and authorisations through workflows. The anticipated benefits include increased productivity, time savings from reduced manual tasks, better insights into customers, and more informed decision-making due to improved data access.
eQuality Solutions Group's strategic deployment of Microsoft Dynamics 365 with mhance marks a significant step towards achieving greater efficiency and data integrity. The collaboration has already begun to streamline processes and enhance decision-making capabilities, setting eQS on the path to becoming a great business that does great things.
