Head of Solution Architecture
Earlier this month, I had the pleasure of attending the European Power Platform Conference 2025, held at the Vienna International Conference Centre in Austria. Over three packed days (17–19 June), the event brought together innovators, makers, and architects from across Europe to explore the ever-evolving Power Platform landscape — and it did not disappoint.
Why I Attended
As Head of Solution Architecture, staying ahead of the curve is essential — especially with the rapid pace of innovation around AI, Copilot, and agentic AI. My goal was to absorb as much new thinking as possible and bring back ideas that could shape how we work at mhance and with our clients.
Standout Sessions
Two sessions really stood out for me — both on the final day:
- Leon Welicki’s keynote on *Democratising Business Innovation* was a powerful reminder of why we do what we do. It painted a compelling vision of how Power Platform is enabling everyone — not just developers — to drive transformation.
• Mehdi Slaoui Andaloussi’s session on *Generative Pages* offered a glimpse into the near future. Building on Plan Designer, this new feature will revolutionise how we create apps and automations — fast, intuitive, and deeply AI-driven.
I left the room thinking: we’re entering a world where agents will help us gather requirements, architect solutions, build them, and even operate them. The future is going to look very different — and it’s closer than we think.
Tools That Caught My Eye
Generative Pages is going to be a game-changer. It brings the promise of low-code/no-code to life in a way that’s more accessible than ever. But it also shifts the skillset: customer engagement, sector knowledge, business analysis, and prompt engineering are going to be core competencies in even greater demand.
Key Takeaways
If I had to sum up the conference in one word, it would be: AI. From the evolution of Power Virtual Agents into Copilot to autonomous agentic workflows, the message was clear — AI isn’t just a feature, it’s becoming the foundation.
What’s Next
This week, I’ll be demoing Plan Designer to the team and signing up for early access to Generative Pages. I’m also hoping to return next year — and this time, not just as an attendee. I’ve got some ideas brewing for a session of our own.
People Matter
One of the best parts of the trip? Spending time with colleagues I don’t often get to see in person. This reminded me of something we say often at mhance:
“Projects are 80% people, 20% technology.”
📣 Call to Action
If you’re working with Power Platform — or even just curious about how AI is reshaping business innovation — I highly recommend watching Leon Welicki’s keynote. It’s inspiring, practical, and a great way to understand where things are heading.
🎥 Watch the keynote here. – If you only watch one session from the conference, make it this one.
And if you’re considering attending next year’s conference — do it. The insights, connections, and energy are well worth it.
