MANCHESTER & LONDON — mhance, a multi-award-winning Microsoft technology partner, has announced it has been acquired by SilverTree Equity, a London-based private equity firm that invests in software and technology businesses.
As part of the deal, SilverTree has appointed Julian Stone as Executive Chairman. Stone previously founded Pythagoras, a UK-based Microsoft Dynamics consultancy that was acquired by EY in 2021.
Unlocking the next phase of growth
This investment signals a major milestone for mhance as it strengthens its role as one of the UK’s largest dedicated Microsoft partners. The partnership will accelerate mhance’s growth by expanding its services in:
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 – business software that helps organisations run their operations, like finance, sales and customer service
- Microsoft Azure – Microsoft’s cloud computing platform
- Microsoft Power Platform – low-code tools that allow businesses to build apps and automate processes without needing to write lots of code
- Data & AI – using data and artificial intelligence to help organisations make smarter decisions and work more efficiently

The company is also a leading UK support partner for Microsoft Dynamics GP (formerly known as Great Plains), helping organisations move to the newer Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central system when they are ready to modernise.
