m-hance, a leading Microsoft Gold Partner and provider of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions to the not-for-profit sector, was selected by Mosaic Family Support to bring the charity’s database up to date. The charity selected m-hance’s NfP 365 Case Management solution to centralise all its data and in addition to this initial project, Mosaic has since gone on to implement the NfP 365 Accelerator to help with its fundraising activities.

As a Dorset-based charity specialising in bereavement support for children and families all across the country, Mosaic Family Support was founded in 2007. It collaborates with other agencies in order to ensure a cohesive framework of support before, during, and after someone close passes away.

The Mosaic Family Support team is made up of 10 employed staff members and 24 sessional counsellors. In their search for a partner to implement a new database, the charity approached m-hance. The team was experiencing issues with their existing database as team members worked on various versions rather than a centralised system, so data became duplicated, inconsistent, and out-of-date very easily. Since Mosaic is a small charity, it was important for them to find a partner who would consider their requirements within their budget.

In collaboration with m-hance, the Mosaic team set out to develop a modern data solution that would not only meet the charity’s strategic goals and growth but would also provide a stable, centralised base of data for the charity. m-hance’s case management solution is built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales and Service and tailored to the charity sector.

Having that ability to keep jumping on Teams meetings when required was certainly what led to the success of the project.”

The team at Mosaic Family Support was closely involved throughout the implementation process since they wanted a solution that was perfect for them and implemented within a short period of time. The project was successfully completed within a few weeks. It was crucial for the charity to have a partner who understood the industry and its needs. As the initial project went exceptionally well, Mosaic turned to m-hance to implement a donor management solution for their fundraising activities. Although they have not been able to fully utilise this solution due to the pandemic, the charity is excited to see the benefits when their events programme is back on track. For the moment they are able to see all the volunteer information in one central place.
