What’s Coming in the October 2025 Wave Release for Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys

The October 2025 Wave Release for Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys brings a host of new AI-driven enhancements designed to make marketing automation smarter, faster, and more connected.

From expanded Copilot capabilities to improved event management and compliance features, these updates give marketers greater control, personalisation, and efficiency across every campaign.

If you missed our live webinar, here’s a round-up of the key highlights.

Copilot-Powered Voice Conversations

Launching next month, this new feature integrates Customer Insights with Dynamics 365 Contact Center, allowing marketers to add voice messages directly within customer journeys.
You’ll also gain access to detailed engagement metrics like call attempts, outcomes, and sentiment analysis — giving deeper insight into every customer interaction.

Create Journeys with Copilot

The journey creation with Copilot feature moves from preview to general availability later this year.
Using natural language, marketers can describe a desired journey — for example, “send an email to event attendees, and if they click a link, send a follow-up” — and Copilot builds the framework instantly.
It’s a faster, more intuitive way to create multi-step journeys without starting from scratch.

Automate Scalable Journey Creation

Launching next month, a new API-driven automation tool lets users create multiple journeys at scale automatically — ideal for multinational or multi-segment teams.
You can generate journey variations by language, region, or trigger, saving valuable setup time and ensuring consistency across markets.

Larger Static Segments

You can now build static segments with up to 200,000 members, using data from any source.
This means marketers can upload CSV files, connect APIs, or pull data directly from the database — making it easier to run one-off campaigns or communications to large, external audiences.

Smarter Event Management

Event functionality continues to evolve with several exciting enhancements:

  • Teams Town Hall Integration – Host webinars for up to 10,000 attendees.
  • Automated invitations and follow-ups powered by real-time data.
  • Attendance tracking directly within Customer Insights for easier reporting.

You’ll also be able to set registration periods, embed event portals directly on your website, or create branded event pages using Power Pages templates.

Event Payments and Expiration Dates

Two new features make event marketing even more seamless:

  • Payment Integration – Create tickets with pricing and discount codes, and connect payment providers like Stripe for easy checkout.
  • Email Expirations – Set time-based or trigger-based expiry dates on emails to ensure messages stay relevant.

Export Sent Emails

From December 2025, you’ll be able to export sent emails via API, including personalisation and conditional content.
This supports compliance and archiving needs — giving full visibility of exactly what was sent to each recipient.

Why It Matters

This release marks another step toward Microsoft’s vision of an intelligent, unified marketing platform — one that helps organisations:

  • Build and automate personalised journeys faster with Copilot.
  • Manage events and audiences at scale.
  • Maintain compliance through transparency and automation.

Whether you’re focused on engagement, efficiency, or governance, these updates offer tools to enhance every stage of your customer journey.

Next Steps

Many of these features are already in public preview, with full availability rolling out through late 2025 and early 2026.
To prepare, explore previews in your environment and consider where automation can simplify your marketing workflows.
